Small Group Personal Training

Small Group Personal Training (SGPT) at RFF is for motivated men and women over 40 who value the expertise of a coach and want some personal attention.

But also want the fun, supportive atmosphere of training with other people with similar goals, to support them and keep them accountable.

The typical SGPT client is motivated but needs an extra level of help and support to make sure they hit their goals.

During your 1 month studio trial we'll concentrate on the basics so you get some quick wins and start seeing and feeling the results of your hard work.

Then if you decide to join us as member we'll help you to make significant long term change by focusing on the 3F's and an integrated coaching approach.

Most people just hammer it at the gym and/or drastically cut back on calories.

And they often see significant short term results, but quickly end up back at square one again.

However the best results are achieved with a consistent mix of all 3 (Fitness, Food & Focus) over a sustained period of time.

Plus if you work with us you'll get to use our simple food planning app developed by one of the UK's leading Dietitian's and Sports Nutritionists, who we work closely with and everything is research and evidence based.

How It Works

Small Group Personal Training offers you many of the benefits of 1-2-1 training but without the price tag.

You follow a structured training format and there will be 1 to 3 others training in the studio at the same time.

And you all have your own 'personalised' plan, with 1 coach working with you.

This will be a mix of core, strength, cardio and corrective exercise appropriate to your goals.

Plus on top of your SGPT sessions there is also circuit training you can attend.

What's The Investment?

Our SGPT monthly membership has options for 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week

  • £99/month - 3 sessions a week
  • £69/month - 2 sessions a week
  • £39/month - 1 session a week

However we beleive in a 'Try Before You Fully Buy' approach.

We use Stripe for one off payments and GoCardless to take recurring monthly direct debit payments.

We run a progressive, results and commitment focused group programme and regret that we do not offer pay as you go or part time memberships.

Our programme runs to a 46 week format.

So you are only charged for 46 weeks out of 52 and to keep it simple this is divided into 12 monthly payments.

That leaves 6 weeks for which you are not charged.

WHO is this REALLY for?

We specialise in training men women, 40 and over who are motivated to take control of their health and fitness and get into shape for the long term and are looking to train in a supportive, progressive and fun environment

Your trial membership with 50% OFF entitles you to attend up to 2 SGPT sessions each week and this is a results and commitment focused programme

And while we understand, that other stuff goes on in life and you might not be able to make every session, if you are just looking to train now and again or inconsistently, then our programme is definitely not for you.

When does the programme start?

Payment is on sign up and your 1 month trial starts on the day of your first registration – ie: the first session you book into


What do I need to wear and bring with me? And what facilities are there?

We suggest that you wear comfortable training kit and trainers and you should always bring a bottle of water with you and you may need a small towel.

There is plenty of parking on site, a toilet, but no showers

*As a result of Covid-19 we have a set procedures in place and you will be informed of these prior to starting your 6 week programme and all training is socially distanced.

We have a large supply of paper towels, hand gel, hand wash and cleaning fluid to make your trips to the studio as safe as possible.

How long are the sessions and where is the studio?

The sessions are on average 50 minutes long and they take place at the Results Focused Fitness, Unit 11, Limber Road, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8RR

Is this suitable for beginners as I haven't exercised for a while?

Our workouts are designed to get you results and we tailor your training to your goals and abilities.

If you are motivated to get fit, strong and healthy for life and and prepared to work at a level that challenges you then you will do well with us
