Super simple results…
Can you tell me exactly what you ate and drank today?
And I mean EVERYTHING and exactly how much?
Maybe.
How about yesterday?
And the day before?
Probabaly not!
What about 10 days ago?
No way!
Unless you write down and TRACK everthing that you are eating and drinking you have no idea!
So if you are trying to lose weight then one of the easiest and best ways of doing this is to track what you take on board.
And why does it work so well?
If you write it down its there in black and white and if you go a step further and take a picture you have that evidence too!
And if you want to take it another step further, write down how you FEEL at the time.
Then in the future if you KNOW you got a certain result and the emotions associated with it were GOOD then you can easily repeat it…
…and if something didnt work or made you feel rubbish for instance you will know that too!
But you MUST do it properly otherwise its a waste of time.
I remember when I first started as a personal trainer in a big gym in Bristol I had a few clients that I used to see completing their journals just before our meet ups to go through their progress!
How pointless is that!
The ONLY way to do it is to write it down at the time otherwise its a waste of time.
So if you want to lose weight and keep it off then track what you are doing and in the process you will build good habits and these will help you maintain the results that you get.
Same goes for making other habitual changes in your life.
Track what you are doing and look for patterns that dont serve you well and replace them with ones that do!
