What do you enjoy most about your training? And how long have you been training with us?
I have been training with you for six weeks and really enjoy the relaxed environment, (not relating to physical exertion!) small group size, option for female only, variation in exercises and combinations and the holistic approach which includes guidance on lifestyle choices - without the ‘weigh-in’ mentality.
How does it compare to other gyms/fitness programess you have tried?
I have tried various fitness classes, including personal training and find the content, format and style of delivery of the transformation classes more motivating and less ‘in your face’ for want of another phrase!
How did you feel before you started?
Not ‘in charge’ of my own health and fitness and not sufficiently motivated to go to a regular session. Generally unfit and lacking confidence in how to do the exercises without triggering injury. Overall feeling that I was pursuing ‘short term’ gain in health rather than taking a long term view.
On the right path! I have a routine in place three nights a week and know that I can stick to this which is an achievement for me! I am feeling fitter and a greater sense of well being. Feel that this is a stepping stone to get me back into other activities and to enjoy my recent new hobbies - kayaking, well when it gets warmer.
What changes have you seen as a result of training with us?
I am starting to feel physically fitter and developing a greater sense of well-being from the act of ‘making time’ to come to the sessions.
What would you say to someone who knows they need to do this but is sitting on the fence?
This programme is different from what you may have been used to in the past. Large gym classes can be impersonal, personal trainers can be a bit full on if you are not confident to practise ‘on your own time’. Give this a try you will workout alongside other like minded women, meet some social people, gain confidence in your abilities and have advice and guidance provided willingly by Kieran. Oh and no gym instructor ‘shouting’ is a positive and more appealing!
Anything else you want to add?
Nothing really - I do like the holistic approach that is offered and something different such as the seminar on increasing flexibility. I think also the lack of corporate brand is attractive and sets you apart from others!
